Hello everybody! My name is Adonica Chontel Williams. I am also known as MsChontel.  I am  an author, small business owner, and Founder of EXCEL IN SPITE OF Scholarship Foundation. 

I have always loved to write.  Even as a child I often wrote as a means to express myself as opposed to talking.  My imagination has been vivid since I was three years old.  Why not put that good imagination to use? My goal is to write as many books as I can and touch as many lives as possible before my time here on earth is expired. My personal credo is “Excel in spite of.”  That’s what I have been doing and what I plan to continue to do.

I also design T-shirts. I create custom t-shirts and I also have my own T-shirt brand called CHEST MESSAGES.  Chest Messages allow you to make bold statements without even talking. A few collections in the Chest Messages Brand are,  Bodied, UGLY, Cute and Curly, and Salvation Styles. Bodied promotes positive body images, and UGLY stands for U. Gotta.Love. Yourself. It promotes self-love. Cute and Curly is for all of my natural hair people who LOVE their hair and their journey, and Salvation Styles allow all of my religious people to live out loud and with style!
